How NGOs, resident associations and community groups can plan a dental check-up or oral screening camp with Dental Arch: roles, checklist, consent and follow-up.
For Communities & NGOs
Many people in a community have dental problems that nobody has diagnosed. A community dental camp brings screening and guidance to where people already gather: a learning centre, a residential society, a school or an NGO centre.
We run dental and oral screening camps in association with NGOs, including a free dental check-up camp with Global Cancer Concern India in New Delhi. This guide explains how NGOs, resident welfare associations and community groups can plan one with us.

Planning Steps
Decide who the camp is for (children, women, elders, whole community) and what it should achieve: screening, awareness, referrals or all three.
Pick a familiar, accessible place at a time when people can attend, and avoid festivals and exam periods.
Use your usual channels: volunteers, local leaders, schools, notice boards and WhatsApp groups. Use simple, local-language messages.
We screen and guide participants. You help with registration and flow. Afterwards, we agree who needs follow-up care and how.
Roles
The venue, tables and chairs, volunteers for registration and queue management, outreach to the community, and any permissions needed.
Dentists, completely sterile equipment, screening and consent forms, dental awareness material and guidance, and a report for each participant.
Target group and number, timings, languages, whether oral cancer screening is included, and what follow-up the organisation would like.
Checklist
Screening
Dental and oral cancer screening camps, held with NGOs, help people be checked early and guided to the right next step. Screening is not a diagnosis: anyone with a finding is advised on follow-up, and where needed, referred for further evaluation.
Our team includes Dr. Neha Sharma, a maxillofacial surgeon with a fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology.
Screening, awareness talk and guidance. Treatment is not done at the camp and, if needed, is arranged separately.
Oral Health Month
Dental awareness talks work well for schools and community groups, and fit Oral Health Month drives. We have run dental check-up camps in association with Colgate and the Indian Dental Association. Short, practical talks on brushing, diet and habits help build good oral health early.
